JANE LEVY

Date of Birth: December 29, 1989

Growing up in Marin County in Northern California, Jane Levy spent her childhood performing in local theater productions of classics such as Oklahoma! and The Wizard of Oz. In high school her interests spread out beyond acting to sports and dance. After graduation she attended the liberal arts college Goucher College.

Levy only attended Goucher for a semester before transferring to the prestigious Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York City, where she remained for two years. After moving to Los Angeles in 2011, within a few weeks she landed a recurring guest role on the hit HBO series Shameless alongside William H. Macy and Emmy Rossum.

That same year Levy landed a starring role in the hit comedy series Suburgatory, alongside Cheryl Hines and Jeremy Sisto. Her role as Tessa earned her a spot on TV Guide and TheInsider.com's list of 2011's breakout stars as well as a spot on AOL's list of the funniest women. Forbes named her one of the 30 entertainers under 30 who are "reinventing the world" adding that Levy was "one to watch."

The praise has not been in vain—Levy stole the screen in the 2012 Halloween comedy Fun Size, which also starred Victoria Justice, Chelsea Handler and Johnny Knoxville. She went on to play a role in Ry Russo-Young's independent film Nobody Talks opposite John Krasinski, which was co-written by Russo-Young and Girls star and creator Lena Dunham.

Jane scored a lead role in the highly anticipated remake of Sam Raimi's classic zombie film, Evil Dead in 2013, as well as in Bharat Nalluri's thriller, In a Dark Place in 2014.

The talented actress can most recently be seen starring in the critically acclaimed horror flick Don't Breathe (2016) and the family-friendly adventure comedy Monster Trucks (2017).
