GAELAN CONNELL

Gaelan Connell (last name pronounced kuh-NELL) was born in Washington, DC. He is the lead singer and guitarist of the DC rock band "Exist," and is currently recording an album with his new band "Sweet 16."

Connell made his onscreen debut playing Didi Drou in the award-winning romantic drama Chocolat (2000), alongside Juliette Binoche, Judi Dench and Johnny Depp. The role was followed by an appearance in the Tracey Ullman and Selma Blair comedy A Dirty Shame (2004) and a stint in an episode of Law & Order in 2008.

His combined musical and acting talents landed him the starring role of Will Burton, high school outcast and musician, in Bandslam (2009).
