ELIZABETH HURLEY

Date of Birth: June 10, 1965

After winning a scholarship to study dance and theater at the London Studio Centre, this Hampshire, England native turned punk. Done up with dyed pink hair and a nose ring to lead her around by, Hurley played the Sex Pistols wanna-be to the hilt.

Now, she says, "My family screams with laughter when they see me in that sophisticated look—that really amuses them a lot."

Seems that the punk look has limited appeal for modeling contracts and acting gigs, so Hurley cleaned up her act and soon began landing theater parts which lead to her first screen roles in Aria and Remando al viento. The latter film also featuring a young actor named Hugh Grant who went on to become her longtime lover.

Of course, there was the little incident where boyfriend Grant was picked up by the L.A. police while enjoying a little oral examination by prostitute Divine Brown. Brown cashed on her new-found notoriety, Grant went on the Jay Leno show and offered a humble apology; and Hurley stood by her man. Perhaps her sense of humor helped her through the media ordeal, as she says: "I can be quite silly, and, being English, I laugh at anything to do with lavatories or bottoms, which is very mindless. I like silly."

Hurley is also the spokesperson for Estee Lauder cosmetics and she and Grant set up their own production company in association with Castle Rock Entertainment.

However, they finally parted ways in 2000, and in 2002 she went on to give birth to a son with producer Steve Bing, who denied being the child's father until a paternity test confirmed that fact. She went on to marry Arun Nayer in March 2007, but they separated in 2010 following revelations that she'd been having an affair with Australian cricket legend Shane Warne.
