DEVON BOSTICK

Date of Birth: November 13, 1991

Born and raised in Toronto, Devon Bostick was just four when his mother, casting director Stephanie Gorin, secured him a small non-speaking role on Exhibit A. At the age of eight, he began landing small roles in TV movies such as The Scream Team, DC 9/11: Time of Crisis, Hustle and Shania: A Life in Eight Albums. His career got a big boost when his mom cast him in his first motion picture, Godsend, starring Robert De Niro. Devon's lead performance in Atom Egoyan's Adoration, which screened in competition at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival, is one of the highlights of his career.

Other work includes a supporting role in Saw VI and leading roles in George F. Romero's Survival of the Dead, Jeremy Podeswa's Fugitive Pieces, which opened the Toronto International Film Festival, and Kari Skogland's The Stone Angel, starring Ellen Burstyn. In Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Devon played big brother Rodrick, reprising the role in the sequels Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules (2011) and Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days (2012).

Prior television credits include the recurring role of Leo in Being Erica, Nic in Degrassi: The Next Generation and Ezio in the mini-series Assassin's Creed: Lineage. He was nominated for a Young Artist Award for his work on the 2007 TV movie The Altar Boy Gang.

Devon attended the Etobicoke School of the Arts and from grades five to nine, took classes at The Second City in Toronto. His brother Jesse is also a successful actor.
