BRETT BAKER

Date of Birth: August 23, 1967

Born in San Diego, Brett Baker grew up in Anchorage, Alaska. He began acting at the age of 12 and has won numerous talent searches and national acting competitions.

Brett studied at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle from 1985 to 1989, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting. In 1998 he received an international acting scholarship to study at The Royal National Theatre/Old Vic under the patronage of Anthony Hopkins.

He started his career on stage and in 1991, made his screen debut in the movie Dogfight, which starred River Phoenix. Next, he appeared in The Disappearance of Kevin Johnson (1996) starring Pierce Brosnan. Other movie credits include Big Miracle (2012) with Drew Barrymore, Identity Thief (2013) with Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy, Focus (2015) with Will Smith and Maggie (2015) with Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Brett, who has been acting professionally for over 25 years, makes his home in Shreveport, Louisiana, but also spends time in California. In his spare time, Brett enjoys yoga and watching Netflix.
