Ben Hardy
Date of Birth: January 2, 1991
Sherborne England native Ben Hardy didn't have acting aspirations as a child. It was only in his teens that the acting bug bit. He went on to graduate from London's Royal Central School of Speech & Drama with a BA (Honours) in Acting.
Ben got his professional start when he played a role in Friedrich Dürrenmatt's The Physicists at the Donmar Warehouse, followed by the role of hotel staff member Arthur Wellesley in The Judas Kiss at London's Hampstead Theatre in 2012, a role that required him to be naked on stage, simulating sex.
In 2013 Ben made his television debut when he took over the role of Peter Beale on the BBC soap opera EastEnders. His role on the show earned him nominations for "Best Newcomer" and "Sexiest Male" at the British Soap Awards. Ben stayed with the show until 2015, when he left to join the cast of X-Men: Apocalypse in the role of the winged mutant Angel.
Ben went on to play writer John Polidori in the biographical romance Mary Shelley (2018), about the romance between Mary (Elle Fanning) and Percy Shelley (Douglas Booth) and the circumstances that led Mary Shelley to write her classic novel, Frankenstein. He also played bass guitarist John Deacon in the Queen biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody (2018).
Ben, who lives in West London with longtime girlfriend, actress Katriona Perrett, enjoys working out in his free time and goes to the gym four to five times a week.
