The Get Down (Netflix)

Set in '70s era South Bronx, in the early genesis of hip-hop, this musical drama series follows a group of misfit teenagers — Zeke (Justice Smith), Mylene (Herizen F. Guardiola), Dizee (Jaden Smith), Shaolin Fantastic (Shameik Moore), Cadillac (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II), and Ra-Ra (Skylan Brooks) — as they make their way through the trials of adolescence and living in a broken-down New York City.
