The Avengers (1998)

As a result of a 12-year commitment to the project by producer Jerry Weintraub, "The Avengers," a major motion picture based on the successful British television series of the 1960s, has begun principal photography at Pinewood Studios in England. Ralph Fiennes dons a pinstripe suit and bowler hat as John Steed; Uma Thurman stars as the redoubtable Emma Peel and Sean Connery is the villainous Sir August De Wynter.
