Violation co-directors/co-writers Dusty Mancinelli and Madeleine Sims-Fewer, who also stars in the film, talk about their dark revenge thriller. They talk about why they wanted to tell a different story about trauma for their first feature film and discuss the importance of a platform such as TIFF for Canadian filmmakers. Madeline also tells our interviewer Marriska Fernandes about the challenges she faced writing, directing and starring in the film.
