Theater Reviews

One of the worst in the city

October 24, 2018

My husband and I came on Sunday to see the new Halloween. So we show up at 3:45 for a 4pm show. I had bought tickets online to save time. Went to the machines to print them out, 2/3 are broken so we had to wait a couple minutes to print ours out. So we get our tickets, then remember we can't pay for parking on those machines. So we go inside and see the machines to pay for parking are busted. I asked the lady at cust service if there's anywhere else to pay for parking since the line up front was hella long, and she says no. so we have to go wait in this line. There's 5 stations and ONE person working and the line is snaked through the posts and to the door (I took video). It took us like 15-20 min to get through, no exaggeration. I felt bad for the one woman working. Then we get in, and mind you neither of us has eaten anything so we were planning on time to grab snacks. Of course the concessions has 2 people working on a Sunday afternoon. And there's like 10 people waiting in each line. At one point, both cashiers and their manager who is wandering back and forth are ALL ON ONE REGISTER. Mind you, I have a fair amount of patience from years working retail, but at this point I was already irritated. Finally, after like 10 minutes I shout to the mgr to ask her if someone else can help out, so she jumps on. We finally get our food (after she wandered somewhere out of sight and stopped to help another cashier again) the pretzel I got was not salted and completely flavorless, 2 of the pop machines were broken and none had ice. By the time we FINALLY walk into the damn show it's 4:25, the movie was JUST starting. It took FORTY minutes from entering to getting to our movie. Icing on the cake was the filthy bathrooms after, had to go into 3 stalls before finding one that was tolerable. If I have to pay 14 bucks for a flipping movie, they can afford to staff the place, it was a ghost town employee wise. It's not the first strike either, whic
