Hardworking Employees, Exploitative Management

this owner does not treat employees like human beings even. Most of the practices are illegal and he is known to protest any sort of workers rights

Disgusting

February 16, 2022

You get what you pay for here, and not even that tbh. There are so many rules, if I wanted to deal with that I’d watch a movie in my alcoholic fathers basement . Stay away, stale popcorn, and dictatorships await if you visit here.

Terrible staff, Screen was so dark I couldn't see the film, Camera in bathroom!

October 09, 2021

Tonight was my second time attending this drive in and my first ever double feature. First of all they wanted me to buy a $20 food voucher for JUST MY WATER BOTTLE. Secondly when the second film came on which was James Bond No time to Die (the main attraction) the film was extremely dark. So much so that you couldn't make out the actors faces or the action that was going on in the majority of the scenes. It was like this throughout the entire film and about 30 min in I went to find someone to address this issue. I spoke with someone asking them why it was so dark and I kid you not the guy said "because it's nighttime". I couldn't believe this response and when I questioned him he told me "that's how it's filmed and there's a lot of action" he then told me to wait and called someone on the radio but didn't tell me what they said. They don't make films so dark that you can't see the actors faces, and you shouldn't answer your customers in that sort of way. I wont be returning. As far as the concessions go, yes they are cheap but the popcorn is stale and tastes like it has been there since last week and it's also worth noting that there is a VISIBLE camera in the mens bathroom across from the sinks.

Enough rules to rival a USMC basic training

April 18, 2021

Ridiculous amount of rules especially considering how few people actually follow them. A solid 5 times throughout the night the entire theater was reminded of the 30+ rules (I counted) on the pamphlet handed out, dozens of signs posted, and frankly rude workers policing the lawn. Concessions are godawful, $4.50 for a microwaved patty on white bread with no toppings, and a pizza that looks straight out of a high school cafeteria. As far as movie experience goes, not horrible, but then again not great. If you’re solely concerned with quality (sound & picture), then you’re probably better off in a real theater. Overall, first time I went and probably last time as well.

Oppressive

August 20, 2020

Published this on Google, but absolutely worth reposting somewhere else: Movie screen and sound are great and the tickets are affordable. That's about where my praise ends. First, as mentioned by others, the rules are INCREDIBLY severe. Not just in the rules themselves, but the sheer number of rules. The website already has a thesis paper's worth of rules and regulations. Then at the entrance gate they actually give you another pamphlet for more rules. It's especially wild when once you're inside the enforcement of those rules seem completely arbitrary. For instance, within in ten minutes of parking, an attendant appeared to hand us twine, telling us to the down our gate because it's above the roof of the car. That is a rule that I was already aware of. However, we were still unpacking what we brought and trying to cover up the car lights inside (also a rule). On top of this, the attendant stood there waiting for me to tie the gate down while I was getting everything else situated. Meanwhile in the rows behind us multiple SUV's had gates up and had interior lights on the entirety of the movie with no issue. Additionally, there's a whole section of rules about leaving the car during a presentation and not camping out in the designated spaces for cars. The first spot we tried to park in was filled by about fivepfive next to their car, even though the rules specifically state only to do so in front of your parking space to not take up spots for other cars. What REALLY put me over the top is the radios. We needed to rent a radio which is $10. A bit high but not even my issue. You also need to provide an ID as collateral. And not just *YOUR* ID, but the ID of everyone in the car. I would not have been surprised if a credit check and SSN was needed, as well. Again, the movie experience itself was fine. But everything else around it is absolutely miserable. I absolutely would not recommend this drive-in to anyone. First time visit, defini
