Worst experience at a theater

Not clean or close to clean. Smelled like sewage. Went to see a movie that was on Google only to find out it wasn’t playing. Was told that we can’t use Google and we were wrong for doing that. They treated us like we were stupid for using Google which I feel 99% of people would do. Terrible experience and will not go back.

The Sound of Freedom - No air conditioning

Just went to see The Sound of Freedom. No dame air conditioning. I am 61 years old and have advance COPD. Talked to manager, said he turned the air conditioning on. I'm like what the hell is it doing off. I told him he is responsible for all his guests and then he said he didn't like the way I was talking to him, I guess the truth does hurt, LOL. I checked all the other rooms in the theater and all were nice and cool. I and my kids and grand kids will never go to AMC theater's again. I have seen many post saying the same thing about the air conditioning at AMC Theaters, didn't believe it till I seen it myself, total B/S.

Disappointed -3D broken

I waited and purchased online tickets for IMAX 3D seats. I got into the show and had to go back to get 3D Glasses. Other show patrons had 3D glasses on also. BUT .....the movie was NOT 3D!!! After the movie, there was no staff to speak to. I called next day and was told their IMAX 3D projector was broken and if i had used the correct website (????????) I would have known that it was not 3D!!! Poor customer service ......guess the mistake was mine!!!!! I will consider other theatres and not b going AMC anymore.

Such an inconvenience

I remember when the theater opened, it was nice ! Now with washrooms where the flies home in, I want to vomit thinking that the staff will not clean. The carpet in the lobby, halls and the floors in all theaters are Sticky ! When I asked one staff to clean a toilet so I could use, the kid looked at me and said: I don't do that and walked. No management and the contact information to complain is not good either. The health department hasn't been there apparently. We now go across town to a nicer theater and clean ! AMC take a hike !

Good place to watch a movie!

I don't know why this theater has a low rating because every time I've been there, I've had a good experience. Yes, concessions are pricey, but that's at all theaters. And all theaters would be cleaner if people would pick up after themselves. If they have to hire more people to clean up, it drives the prices up. The movie presentations are of good quality and there are always lots of good choices. And I've found associates to be polite and helpful.

Needs Renovation DESPERATELY

I bought my ticket online. No one ever asked to see it. I could have walked back and seen any movie I wanted. The setup for concessions was ridiculous. Two people working meant I stood in line for 20 minutes to then be handed a cup and told I had to go stand in line again and get my own drink at the freestyle machine. To be fair, there are many theaters that have serve yourself drink machines, but the remainder of the concessions are considerably more efficient. Popcorn was given to me dry because I had to add my own butter...which might be cool if that didn't mean that I was only going to have butter on top. I can't even imagine how long it would have taken had I ordered some of the ridiculous menu options (I don't go to the movies expecting loaded mac & cheese or spicy taco bites). The theater itself does not have recliners. The seats that are there are broken: some arm rests are missing, the seats are torn, they lean WAY TOO FAR BACK (especially since they're not recliners). The movie itself was good, but that's no thanks to the theater. There are too many other options in town. I won't be going back to this one.

20+ in line and 2 registers?

It was ridiculous to have 2 people and so many people in line on a Saturday afternoon! Had to wait in line forever just to buy a drink. Only to discover the theater was freezing. No heat in November? Will not be going back.

The Theater of ages

This theater overall is good but the theater itself is outdated and needs to be improved big time in some of its theaters.
