Best film of all time. I watched it the first time when I was young, then read the book, and both are such an honest depiction of racism in the South, but depicted through the eyes of Scout, who's such an endearing character that we witness what happens along with her, as she goes on adventures concerning a strange neighbor, and runs into another townsfolk who's out to cause trouble. It gives you a look at the world through the eyes of children and with all that's going on in the world, this should be the first movie children watch when they're seven and up. It opens your eyes to injustice, but with the storytelling, it's full of adventure as well.

One of the best movies ever made. Casting was perfect with Gregory Peck as Atticus Finch, and Mary Badham gave an amazing performance as Scout, there are actors twice her age who would give anything for 1/10th of her skill as an actor. She should have won the Oscar she was nominated for.

Absolutely LOVED this movie! Gregory Peck was the best Atticus Finch. And the children actors were just as good. Truly amazing movie.

One of my fav movies of all time. Touches on so many family and social issues. It shows you cant judge a whole race of ppl by one bad apple. Evil will always luve in some ppl. I think majority of ppl are good and fair.

An incredible portrayal of the best book I've ever read. It's funny, heart-breaking, mind-opening, and so much more. The acting is superb. Gregory Peck was born to play Atticus Finch. I've read the book many times and seen the movie many times as well. I look forward to seeing it again this Sunday.

a wonderful beginning for truly great actor. None better. He geniunely lives the part he plays to the fullest. You become completely en-grossed with the character he plays, because he does it so completely natural that you are fully convinced that he is actually that character. I sometimes believe that he actually in his mind, becomes that character.
