In the trailer for Wakefield, we are introduced to man named Howard Wakefield (Bryan Cranston), who appears to live a regular, everyday life. He has everything: a home in the suburbs, a family, and a successful career as a lawyer; but for some reason, he decides he wants to put his life on hold. He disappears, leaving his family on their own, and chooses to hide out in the attic. Worried about his well-being, his family calls his phone, only to have it go unanswered. Instead, Howard watches from a distance as his family slowly moves on without him, realizing that this is his chance to become the Howard Wakefield he was always meant to be.
