In the third (and final) official trailer for Underworld: Blood Wars, a dark and brooding tone is quickly established. The vicious war between vampires and lycans is reignited and to end the bloodshed, protagonist Selene (Kate Beckinsale) is once again called upon. Within 15 seconds of the trailer, we watch an intense battle unfold where guns are fired and violence is widespread.
As it continues, a female vampire warns, "The lycans have resolved to exterminate us." The new leader of the lycans, Marius (Tobias Menzies) seeks Selene's blood, and as David (Theo James) says, the lycans' power will be "limitless" if they obtain it. An epic encounter looms and David aims to protect Selene from the lycans, but she proves she's quite capable of defending herself with some impressive fighting skills.
