In this trailer for the biopic drama Tolkien, we see how his love of writing, language, and his desire to tell stories would be greatly influenced by his experiences in his formative years. From his friendships with fellow outcasts at school, to the love he felt as he grew up, and finally the horrors of war he would come to experience in The Great War, all would help to shape and define his iconic world of Middle-earth.
