In the trailer for The Old Man & the Gun we see an unassuming Forrest Tucker (Robert Redford) stop at the side of a highway to help Jewel (Sissy Spacek), whose truck has broken down. After explaining that he is in fact a bank robber, we see just how charming Forrest is. Witnesses at the bank describe Forrest as "polite" and "sort of a gentleman." We then see agent John Hunt (Casey Affleck) tracking Forrest and vowing to catch him during a television interview. The life story of this brave old bank robber is revealed in a tidy montage. Finally we see Forrest smiling like a true gentleman as he runs from the police.
