In the trailer for The Little Stranger, Dr. Faraday (Domhnall Gleeson) arrives at a dilapidated estate in the British countryside. He remembers going there as a child in 1919, when it was a grand hall that held massive parties. He tends to the son of the family, Roderick (Will Poulter), who was a pilot during WWII and who is suffering from "war shock," according to Faraday. However, strange and ghostly things begin happening and they appear to be linked to the death of Roderick's sister Susan, many years earlier.
