On a normal, sunny day, a seemingly ordinary young girl and boy stand in a tiny boat surrounded by vast waters and faraway islands in this first official trailer for Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. The girl, Emma (Ella Purnell), jumps into the water, inviting Jacob (Asa Butterfield) to join her. They dive deep into an abandoned ship, where Emma showcases her very unique talent for creating air out of water. Afraid yet curious, Jacob accompanies Emma to a lavish Victorian mansion on a secluded island -- the home of the eccentric Miss Peregrine (Eva Green) and her equally peculiar young charges.
