In this first trailer for Jumanji: The Next Level, we see Spencer (Alex Wolff) at a bit of a loss and speaking to his grandfather Eddie (Danny DeVito). Still seemingly enchanted with the escapism of Jumanji, Spencer tinkers with the game cartridge. When his friends Fridge (Ser'Darius Blain), Martha (Morgan Turner), and Bethany (Madison Iseman) come to check up on Spencer, they find that he's disappeared and most likely gone back into the game. While discussing what to do, the game activates by itself and transports the three back into the world of Jumanji. When they arrive, Martha, in the avatar of Ruby Roundhouse (Karen Gillan), sees the avatar of Smolder Bravestone (Dwayne Johnson) believing that it's Spencer once again, but is surprised to realize that it is in fact grandpa Eddie. They are next joined by Franklin Finbar (Kevin Hart), who is being played by grandpa Eddie's friend Milo (Danny Glover), before Professor Sheldon Oberon (Jack Black) arrives, being played by Fridge. Starting an entirely new adventure, the new group must venture forth into the next level of Jumanji to find out what happened to Spencer and Bethany, complete the game, and make it out alive.
