In Egypt, Set (Gerard Butler), the God of Darkness, has an epic duel with the current king, rival god Horus (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), which ends when Horus is blinded. The evil and vicious god Set then takes over Egypt and enslaves all of the people within. Horus manages to restore one of his eyes and allies himself with a mortal named Bek (Brenton Thwaites) to save the world and free their people.
