In the UK trailer for Florence Foster Jenkins, we're introduced to the New York heiress and socialite (Meryl Streep), who proudly proclaims her desire to take opera lessons. Her husband, St. Clair Bayfield (Hugh Grant), supports her dream and decides to help her secure a trainer and eventually fill Carnegie Hall. The catch is, of course, Florence is entirely tone-deaf. Directed by Stephen Frears, the film is inspired by the true story of the deluded aristocrat's goal, and this trailer gives it a hilarious and surprisingly emotional tone.
