In the official Emoji trailer for Everything, Everything, we hear a young girl, 18-year-old Maddy Whittier (Amandla Stenberg), describe her life through Emojis. She shows how her nurse, her mother and her whole world revolve around her sickness – that if she were to go outside, she’d die. We then hear a young man, her neighbor Olly (Nick Robinson), ask to see Maddy. Unable to meet him outside her home, the two connect and become fast friends. Things quickly move beyond friendship and now Maddy desires to experience the life that exists with Olly beyond her four walls.
