In the trailer for Diamantino we are introduced to world-renowned Portuguese soccer player, Diamantino (Carloto Cotta), a.k.a. the Michelangelo of soccer. Diamantino’s life is turned upside down when he has an encounter with refugees that's so shocking, it causes him to sabotage his career. After living a life that only revolved around soccer, he is forced to learn more about the world around him, meet new people and gain an entirely new look on life.
