In Theaters June 30, 1995

This historical drama brings to life the story of NASA’s third moon-landing mission, Apollo 13. Tom Hanks, Kevin Bacon and Bill Paxton star as three astronauts who prepare to mission to the moon in 1970. In preparation for their trip, they undergo extensive training that leads up all the way to their April 11 launch date.

The world watches as the team makes its way to the moon, but complications start to arise. Three days into the mission, a tank explodes inside the rocket and forces the team to abort their mission and redirect their focus on making it back to Earth safely.
