Mitch Rapp (Dylan O'Brien) is haunted by his girlfriend's murder at the hands of terrorists in the first trailer for American Assassin. Mitch wants revenge on the people responsible and puts a plan in motion, but catches the eye of the government, which shares the same agenda. They send Mitch to be trained by their top man, Stan Hurley (Michael Keaton). The government thinks Mitch shows enormous promise, but Hurley is skeptical. Things get complicated when a man formerly trained by Hurley turns to the other side and gets his hands on deadly radioactive weapons.
