Very slow paced. Not Branagh's best work!

Easily the gold standard for all action adventure movies. It gets no better.

America should see this movie. Theaters should show the movie more than two days. The forgiveness miracle is real.

    Men in Black: International

Men in Black 3 was Ok but it was not as great as the other two. More like a one time flick movie.

    The Resident

I know what's going to happen so I need to look away. Predictable, but what thriller isn't to some extent? Acting was 5 out of 5. I'd recommend it to other thriller lovers. Gave me that anxiety.

    Godzilla: King of the Monsters

Tuesday, June 18, 2019 1:14:05 AM | (Age Not Specified)

A big improvement on the 2014 reboot (which was not bad in itself but missed the opportunity to actually show lots of Godzilla). This movie had lots of monster sequences and lots of monsters, including the big guy. And yes, the plot may seem ridiculous, but c'mon....it's a science fiction movie and like most things in science fiction movies, anything goes. As someone who loved Godzilla movies as a kid, I liked how they linked the origins of the monsters in this movie to some of the mythology in those old movies. I am sure there are die-hard Godzilla geeks who will still find things that didn't align 100% with the old stories, but I just appreciated the effort. Anyway, the verdict is simple: if you like giant monster movies, go see it. If you don't, then don't go see it. But don't go knowing that the plot will be thin and the characters two-dimensional just so you can complain about those aspects. This is a mindless summer popcorn flick that does exactly what it's supposed to do!

    Captain Marvel

YES, 5 STARS FOR ACTION & MORE ACTION A GOOD PLOT. THIS WAS MY 2ND MOVIE & I LIKED IT. THE 1ST MOVIE, I SLEPT RIGHT THROUGH, THE ENTIRE MIDDLE OF THE MOVIE. FOLKS, THIS WAS ONE VERY, COMPLICATED & CHALLENGING MOVIE. THE ROLE OF THIS SUPERHERO WOMAN, WITH MEMORY & HEAD DAMAGES, WAS NOT EASY. IT DEFINITELY, REMINDED ME OF, THE SAME PROBLEMS, IN ACTUAL MILITARY COMBAT & SUFFERING FROM REAL HEAD INJURIES. THE DIRECTOR REALLY DID, KEEP US ON OUR TOES, AS WE WERE TRYING TO FOLLOW ALONG WITH THE PLOT & THEME OF THIS MOVIE. IT TURNS OUT, THE GOOD GUYS WERE NOT GOOD GUYS, BUT, WERE REALLY THE BAD GUYS.!! THE BAD GUYS WERE NOT BAD, THEY WERE JUST GOOD FOLKS, WANTING TO BE WITH THEIR FAMILIES. BRIE LARSON WAS MAYBE, A LITTLE BIT, TOO SERIOUS AT TIMES, IN THIS MOVIE AS A SUPERHERO.!! BRIE WAS ALWAYS BATTLING & FIGHTING ON & ON.!! IT WAS A VERY HARD MOVIE, FOR A SUPERHERO LADY, BECAUSE, SHE WAS TRYING TO FIND HERSELF MENTALLY & TO DEAL WITH ALL THE HEAVY ACTION SHOTS IN THIS, VERY BUSY MOVING STORY. BRIE LARSON WAS NO TOO PLASTIC OR TO TOO, HARD. BRIE WAS JUST TRYING TO COME ACROSS, AS A STRONG WOMAN WITH SUPERPOWERS & YES, SHE SURE DID A GOOD JOB, STANDING UP AGAINST, THE PROPER, BAD GUYS FOR SURE.!! CPT SCOTT.
