Even though I`ve read the book series several times, I was still truely amazed to see the story unfold before my eyes. It brought a whole new dimention to the story. This was the best movie I`ve ever seen. I was taken totaly into the story. My suspension of dis-belief was total. I felt for every character in the movie. BRAVO... A TRUE MASTERPIECE.

I absolutely think it`s the best movie i`ve ever seen. I`ve seen it twice already and I would not mind if I went to go see it 10 more times! I`m sad though that it`s the last one.

Peter Jackson out did himself with this film. If he doesn`t win Oscar after this film that will be a shame.

It`s a great movie, a best picture contender; however, there are some noticable chunks missing (ex. what happened with Eowen after she defeated the Nazgul king, etc.), but I`m sure those will be explained in the special edition DVD.

This movie left me breathless and speechless. With only the minor flaw of a slightly drawn out ending, every aspect of the movie was flawless. This is the only movie I know where the heavy use of computer graphics actually compliments and enhances the artistic aspect of the film instead of taking away from it. Definitely one of the best movies I`ve ever seen, if not THE best.

Sumptuous cinemaphotography, heart-rending storey, the movie truly captures the mood and beauty of Tolkien`s books.
