The Gardener is an extraordinary documentary. The photography is technically astounding and finds the emotional connection in every scene. The story is simple and narrated with class by the elderly gardener himself with interesting perspectives offered by a few articulate voices from "the outside." No matter what expectations one brings to the movie, one is left at the end with a sense of the ecstatic lift of beauty sometimes radiating peace and purity, other times entering with a jolt of surprise. Give yourself a treat and see this show more than once.
Breathtaking! A rare treat for the good of your soul!
Do yourself a favour and go see this film. Totally engrossing for a documentary. The cinematography is mesmerizing. What a treat to hear how the garden progressed through the years from the horse`s mouth, so to speak. Interviews with Frank Cabot contributed greatly to the enjoyment of this film.
