In response to the last reviewer.... seeing as how he won the first place award for best olive oil in 2013, its pretty obvious the movie is not set in 1970. Not to mention the grandparents are of the Woodstock generation (1969), would be pretty near impossible to have 17 year old grandchildren in the '70s. Duh!!!!. Nice movie, though.

Nice relaxed modern take on three generation communication problems overcome eventually by love of family. And great shots of provence. Good light entertainment. I see film reviewer Jordan Mintzer feels film is loaded down with cliches but that's the movies' tone. Good light entertainment with predictable but still funny moments.

Wonderfully acted and a great story. Loved it!

A delightful film which unfortunately suffers (but only mildly) by the typical problem that so many foreign films are subjected to with sub-titles that run too quickly for all but speed-readers. Otherwise, it is a heart-warming film that is filled with warmth and humor. Highly recommended for subject matter and more.

This movie is NOT set in 1970. The young people are clearly from 2012 and are visiting their grandparents, who were young in the late 60's and early '70's. The two older grandchildren have laptops and iPhones and the cars are modern. After saying that, the film is delightful and a pleasure to watch. Beautifully filmed - and the acting is good, especially the older actors who play the grandparents. The teenagers are a bit uneasy in their roles, but manage to pull it off enough to make the story work. I enjoyed it.
