This was a slow movie, had some suspense to it. Very disappointed in Tommy Lee Jones's part in this as this was the only reason Iwent to see it was for him. The ending was terrible. I do not recommend seeing this movie if u are a big TLJ fan, very disappointing.

This movie sucked..it was long boring and had no ending whatsoever...a waste of money!

First, it is violent. If you can get past this, there are interesting themes to consider including a transitioning from the order and civility of the postwar years to nihilistic and fragmented morality corrupted by drugs and guns, how statistical chance renders plans meaningless. It's not light and it ends strangely, but it probably worth the time.

It's not perfect but bar far the best movie of this year and the last 10 years! The most incredible villian... more evil than skeletor...

Great movie! The villian is one bad arse and I am sure this movie will be in the oscars

In this movie it should be quickly pointed out that the cinematography crew and the principal actors all toed the line... no slackers in this film. Javier Bardem, who, in my opinion, gives a sensational performance in the role as Anton Chigurgh. The real problem is that the story line to "No Country for Old Men"(adapted from Cormac McCarthy's novel of the same title) appears to have been pushed through a cuisineart. The novel, rich with carefully composed multi-layered depth, faultless structure and interesting symbolism, looks to have been pared down during the transition phase, thus rendering a middleweight movie which banks on appeasing theatre audiences with violence a'la Hollywood. An entertaing movie ,a bit violent at times but a well done film. The only thing stopping me from giving the highest rating is the very abrupt death of one of the chearacters. The death took a bit of the flow of the movie away and was a little disappointing.Overall, one of the better flicks that I have seen this year.
