Some entertainment value, however, the actor playing Jack almost ruined it for me entirely. He doesn't have the looks and aura of a lead. It would have been better if they swapped him out and had Ewen McGregor play the part instead although he'd be too old for the role of a youth. The scrawny narrow awkward facial bone structure of Nicholas Hoult gives him a serial killer impression. He should have been made to fill in that face more instead of getting more sunken in for the part. "Jack" will give children nightmares, not the "giants". 2.5 stars

This movie was way below my expectations. The story didn't flow well and the ending was lame.

I had great fun in this movie. A little too intense for young children however. Parents beware.

Formulaic. But of course we all know the story. CGI was decent.

To answer the poster's query, giants are born pregnant.

Really liked this movie...just wondering why there are no female or children giants? How do they multiply?
