Deathly Hallows part 1 was not as good as the other Harry Potter movies. It didn't have the same feel without the school, but it definitely has me on the edge of my seat waiting for the continuation.

Awesome effects , close to the book . Can't wait for part 2!!!

Definitely the most well made Harry Potter Movie. I literally jumped out of my seat a few times. Also the acting by both Rupert Grint and Emma Watson was phenomenal. It was a great inside look into the characters and definitely moving.

Damn...those movie folk sure have done an amazing job of putting J.K. Rowling's books to the big screen! Loved it and can't wait for part 2!

Loved the movie, can't wait for the next one, as a big fan of the books and the movies found that this one fit perfectly in with the series, only disappointment was that there were a couple scenes in the book, that i was hoping to see but taht were ommitted in the movie, however i understand that they can't fit it all in!

I haven't read any of the books, but I did just spend a week watching all the other movies so I can watch this one. This movie is by far the best. The story is great; there was an ending but it also kept you in suspense. I was very impressed with it. Can't wait to see Part 2. I may even have to read the books! :)

This movie is the darkest of the series to date. In this film, most of the focus is on Ron, Herminone, and Harry. As a result, it matched the book in the tedious segments where the characters are in hiding. However, the beginning and latter part of the film were riveting.

Not a bad movie overall, but pacing issues really drag this one down. Character development is strong as ever. Trace amounts of humor try, but ultimately fail to add levity to this grim chapter of the saga.

Enjoyed the movie. Action from the start. Very dark, but should be fitting end of the story. They wrapped it up nicely although it is to be continued. I think they did a good job at developing the story. One word of warning: An avid reader of the books was very disappointed with the story since he felt them cut much to much of the story.

I am a huge Harry Potter fan and have beed since before it became a phenomenon. I have seen all of the other movies and I have always been slightly disappointed with them as they usually fall short of the books. However, this first installment of the Deathly Hallows was FANTASTIC! This movie, not only followed the book practically perfectly, it was action packed from beginning to end. As a reader of the books I know what is going to happen before it happens, but this movie managed to use that knowledge to take my level of anticipation to the next level. I dragged my boyfriend with me to see the movie and even though he is not a Harry Potter fan, he still enjoyed it a lot. So go and see it! W
