Byomesh Baksy was very well done indeed, especially their recapture of the Calcutta scene in the 1940s. They spent a lot of time and effort in assembling all the needed items, including an antique tram train that had not been used for several decades. The dresses/costumes of the actors are so realistic, true to the period. Hopefully this outfit will produce more films based on other stories by the original Bengali writer. Shall look forward to further releases
The genre of the movie is not comedy. It's a mystery n it's very different from a regular indian movie. Very interesting.
