A very powerful movie leading one to consider the role of sex in a relationship, power politics between the sexes and the stifling control some men exert over their families. The husband`s narcissism is a psychological fault but his standing in society leaves her no out until she slips off the ddep end herself. Chilling and thought provoking.

A senseless rehash of early sisxties extreme man-hating feminism. My wife and I could not relate to any of the issues - as they were presented in this one sided film. The high school 101 , hit you over the head simplicity ( acting as deep symbolism )- semi-psychotic, why did I rent this film feelings, never went away. The writer-director may have made other "excellent" films, but the story did not suceed in gleaning any sympathy or understanding in the manner in which it was told. There are excellent writers, filmakers and playwrites, but this was not only disappointed, but trite. Won`t be looking for this directors future work.

i loved this movie, super dark, no right and wrongs, no opinions, just somthing that happened. importantly i could never pick the plot 1 minute ahead
