WALLACE WOLODARSKY

Writer/producer Wally Wolodarsky began his career in 1987 writing for the popular sketch comedy series, The Tracey Ullman Show. Working with a group of talented writers, the show earned him three Emmy nominations and one win in 1990.

With the success of Tracey, Wolodarsky moved on to another hit comedy show, The Simpsons. Working with writing partner Jay Kogen, the two created between two and three episodes for the first four seasons. The work from the second season earned Wolodarsky his second Emmy award and he left the world of The Simpsons in the early 90s with another Emmy nomination.

In 1995, he released his first feature film, Coldblooded, an action/comedy he both penned and directed. The film, which starred Jason Priestley, had mixed reactions from both critics and viewers, some of which felt the film was filled with sick humor.

At the start of this millennium, Wolodarsky worked as a consulting producer on the series The Oblongs, and directed his second feature film, Sorority Boys (2002).
