THOMAS BEZUCHA

Thomas Bezucha spent ten years as a Senior Director of Creative Services with Polo/Ralph Lauren before writing and directing his first film, the gay-themed Big Eden (2000). About a successful New York artist who returns to his childhood town and comes face to face with the object of his unrequited love, the film won numerous awards, including Best Film and Best American Independent Feature Film at the Cleveland International Film Festival; a Jury Award at the Miami Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, and Audience Awards from the Florida Film Festival, the L.A. Outfest, the Seattle Lesbian & Gay Film Festival, the Toronto Lesbian and Gay Film Festival and the San Francisco International Lesbian & Gay Film Festival.

The same year Bezucha was selected as one of Variety magazine's "10 to Watch" screenwriters.

His second feature, which he also wrote and directed, was the big budget comedy The Family Stone (2005), starring Sarah Jessica Parker, Diane Keaton, Dermot Mulroney, Rachel McAdams and Luke Wilson.
