NICK SWARDSON

Date of Birth: October 9, 1976

Nick Swardson made his television debut in 1998 on Comedy Central's Premium Blend. His own stand-up special followed in 2001.

Having made his movie debut in 2000 playing an insane Bowie fan in Almost Famous, Swardson also began collecting writing credits as he began collaborating on scripts such as Malibu's Most Wanted (2003) and Grandma's Boy (2006), playing roles in both. Beginning in 2003 he played a regular role as a roller-skating prostitute in Comedy Central's TV series Reno 911!: Miami, which ended its run in 2009, but not before it was made into a 2007 feature film of the same name.

Still with Comedy Central, in 2010 he landed his own TV series, Nick Swardson's Pretend Time. At the same time, his movie career has heated up with roles in Just Go With It (2011) starring Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston and 30 Minutes or Less (2011) starring Jesse Eisenberg. Swardson also plays the title role in Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star (2011), having penned the screenplay with Adam Sandler and Allen Covert. He reunited once again with Sandler for the 2012 comedy That's My Boy. He can also be seen in the 2013 spoof A Haunted House alongside Marlon Wayans and Cedric the Entertainer.
