NATHAN GAMBLE

Date of Birth: January 12, 1998

Born in Tacoma, Washington, Nathan Gamble discovered his acting talent when he participated in the drama camp his parents ran at their local church. He went on to appear in plays such as Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland and Annie. At the age of seven, Nathan auditioned for director Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, who was looking for a boy to play Brad Pitt's son in the major motion picture Babel. He landed the role and enjoyed working on the film so much that he knew he wanted to continue to act onscreen.

Soon after, Nathan landed a regular role on the CW drama series Runaway alongside Donnie Wahlberg, which aired from 2006 to 2008. From 2008 to 2009 he played a regular role alongside Kelsey Grammer on ABC's Hank. While starring on those two shows he also made guest appearances on numerous TV series such as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Without a Trace, House M.D., Ghost Whisperer and Good Luck Charlie.

After appearing in small roles in the major motion pictures The Dark Knight (2008) and Marley & Me (2008), Nathan's big break came with a starring role in the Warner Bros. film Dolphin Tale (2011), co-starring with veteran actors Morgan Freeman, Harry Connick Jr. and Ashley Judd. The movie, which told the true life tale of a dolphin named Winter, was a box office hit, generating nearly $95 million worldwide. For his work in the film, Nathan was nominated a fifth time for a Young Artist Award (his previous nominations were for Babel, The Mist, House M.D. and Marley & Me.)

Following Nathan's experience filming Dolphin Tale, he became a spokesperson for the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, where the real Winter currently lives. He also appears in the upcoming sequel, Dolphin Tale 2 (2014).

In his spare time, Nathan enjoys spending time in Tacoma with his family. He is the middle child and has a close relationship with his two sisters. His family also has many pets including chickens, ducks, a turkey, two dogs, and a cat. Nathan also likes to stay active by playing football and baseball with his friends and is a fan of the Seattle Seahawks and the Seattle Mariners.
