At the age of seven, Liam Aiken made his Broadway debut in the Tony award-winning revival of Ibsen's A Doll's House (1997). For his role in the latter, he won a Young Artist Award for "Best Performance in a Feature Film - Young Actor Age Ten or Under."

(2003), Aiken landed the starring role (opposite a dog featuring the voice of Matthew Broderick). Next up for the young actor is playing Klaus, one of three orphans taken in by a creepy distant relative in Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events (2004), based on the popular series of books for children.
