G HANNELIUS

Date of Birth: December 22, 1998

Genevieve Hannelius (called G by her friends and family since birth) was born in Boston, Massachusetts, but moved a few months later with her parents to Maine. While there, she discovered a love for acting through school plays. She went on to appear in productions at the Children's Theater of Maine, including playing the lead role of Madeline in Madeline's Rescue at the age of seven.

In 2009, when G was 10, she and her mother decided to go to Los Angeles for a three month period to see if she would have any luck landing onscreen roles. She landed four recurring roles on TV series (Surviving Suburbia, Rita Rocks, Sonny with a Chance and Leo Little's Big Show), as well as a part in the indie movie Black & Blue, a guest role on the TV series I'm in the Band and a bit part on the Disney Channel series Hannah Montana. As a big fan of the series and its star, Miley Cyrus, she was thrilled to be able to play the role of a young fan. She told Tribute during a 2013 interview: "I didn’t care what my role was, I just wanted to meet Miley Cyrus and be on the show. So that was kind of a dream come true."

In 2010, she was cast in a lead role in the Disney Channel TV movie Den Brother and played a recurring role on the popular Disney Channel series Good Luck Charlie, as well as providing the voice for one of the puppies in The Search for Santa Paws DVD, one of several voices she would do for the series about the adorable Golden Retriever pups (Spooky Buddies, Treasure Buddies, Santa Paws 2: The Santa Pups).

By 2012 she was cast in a starring role in the Disney Channel series Dog with a Blog, playing Avery Jennings, a girl whose mother marries a man with two children of her own, giving her an older stepbrother and a young stepsister. To smooth over the transition of becoming a blended family, the parents buy them a dog, and the children soon find the dog can talk.

G is also a singer/songwriter who has five songs available for download at iTunes. She enjoys doing nail polish tutorials for YouTube, which she writes and edits herself, as well as hosting them. In her spare time she enjoys horseback riding, juggling, ballet, acrobatics and walking on stilts.
