EDDIE CIBRIAN

Date of Birth: June 16, 1973

An only child, Eddie Cibrian was born in Burbank, California and raised in the San Fernando Valley, where he worked as a security guard before breaking into the business at the age of 20, playing a janitor on Saved by the Bell: The College Years.

He carved a niche for himself in the soap world, appearing in daytime and nighttime soaps like The Young and the Restless, Baywatch Nights, Beverly Hills 90210 and Sunset Beach before booking his big break, the procedural drama Third Watch, where he played a womanizing New York City firefighter.

Following the terrorist attacks of September 11th, Third Watch ended up winning a Peabody Award for an episode titled "In Their Own Words," that featured the cast (including Cibrian) interviewing real New York City police officers and firefighters who were working that day.

While his resume of films is considerably lighter, he appeared in the 2001 romantic comedy Say it Isn't So with Heather Graham as well as the 1999 dark comedy But I'm a Cheerleader. However, he has a musical side as well. In 1999, Cibrian formed the boy band 3Deep with his best friend (and Young and the Restless co-star) Joshua Morrow as well as Canadian singer CJ Huyer. The group disbanded two years later.

In 2008 he returned to television with an arc on Ugly Betty, following that up with a short-lived regular role on CSI: Miami. In 2011, he headlined the controversial NBC series, The Playboy Club, as a charming attorney with secret mob connections. A month after its premiere, it became the first show cancelled in the 2011-2012 season. However, many working on the series have expressed interest in it continuing on another network.

His most recent big screen role was in Tyler Perry's romantic drama Good Deeds, which also stars Perry as well as Thandie Newton, Gabrielle Union and Phylicia Rashad.

Eddie has two sons from his nine-year marriage to Brandi Glanville. He married country singer LeAnn Rimes in 2011.

In his spare time he enjoys playing golf, tennis and basketball.
