DRAKE BELL

Date of Birth: June 27, 1986

Born in Orange Country, California, Drake Bell began appearing in commercials when he was just five years old. By the time he was eight, he'd garnered a guest shot on Home Improvement and made his film debut in The Neon Bible (1995), starring Gena Rowlands. At nine, he made his major motion film debut with a small role in Jerry Maguire (1996), starring Tom Cruise.

He played John Cusack's son in the HBO film The Jack Bull (1999) for which he received a 2000 Young Artist Award for Best Supporting Young Actor in a TV Movie or Pilot, then went on to play Cusack's character as a teen in High Fidelity (2000).

For Nickelodeon's sketch comedy series The Amanda Show starring Amanda Bynes, Drak was hired as a regular performer, alongside Josh Peck. From there, both were chosen to star in their own Nickelodeon show, Drake & Josh, which debuted in 2004 and ran for four years. Drake has won two Kids' Choice awards (in 2006 & 2007) for Favorite Television Actor for his role in the series. On the show, Drake composed and sang his own songs, leading to him releasing an album of his own, "It's Only Time," through Universal Motown Records.

In 2006, Drake was in a near fatal car crash on the Pacific Coast Highway that left him with a broken jaw, fractured neck, six lost teeth and a six-inch gash to his chin. However, after recuperating, he returned to the show and by mid-2007 he was touring with Aly & AJ, Corbin Bleu and Bianca Ryan. He also performs with his band at venues such as the House of Blues in both Anaheim and San Diego, as well as the Roxy in L.A.

Although Drake has appeared in movies such as Yours, Mine and Ours (2005) starring Dennis Quaid, and the spoof Superhero Movie (2008), he's better known for his TV work. He voiced Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the animated series Ultimate Spider-Man (2012 to 2017) and starred as Alan on Highly Gifted (2017).

Drake is the youngest in a family of five children. He has three brothers and a sister.
