DANIEL SACKHEIM

Daniel Sackheim got his start in the film industry as an assistant film editor and film editor for projects including Stripes, Annie, The Toy and the television series Alfred Hitchcock Presents. He then went on to become an associate producer and music supervisor on the hit series Miami Vice.

New projects didn't come his way until the early '90s, when he started directing various episodes of hit television series like Law & Order, The X-Files, NYDP Blue, ER, and Earth 2, while also acting as a producer for various shows including The X-Files and Millennium. The mid-'90s were mainly spent directing telefilms like In the Shadow of Evil and The Lottery, before he returned to series work.

In 1998 he stepped onto a feature film set once again, this time to act as a producer for the film, The X-Files. He made his feature film directing debut in 2001 with the thriller The Glass House.
