ARI GRAYNOR

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Ari Graynor knew from the time she was six years old that she wanted to get into acting. While growing up, she watched her mother appear in amateur productions. Ari herself appeared in school productions and local theater as well. After graduating from Buckingham Browne & Nichols, a private school in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, Ari, made her professional acting debut. At 18, she was cast in a recurring role as 'Caitlin Rucker' on the hit HBO TV series The Sopranos.

Ari made her feature film debut with a small role in Clint Eastwood's award-winning film Mystic River (2003), followed by a role in Imaginary Heroes (2005), starring Sigourney Weaver. She made her Broadway debut as 'Alison' in 2005's Brooklyn Boy after appearing in the world premiere at South Coast Repertory. Later that year, she played "Marcy" in the Off-Broadway play Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead, at the Century Center for the Performing Arts. Her co-star was American Pie's Eddie Kaye Thomas, and they began dating. Also in 2005, she appeared in the second season of UPN's Veronica Mars as the daughter of a bus driver.

Graynor played a recurring guest role on the Fox series Fringe during the 2009/2010 season as Agent Olivia Dunham's younger sister, Rachel. Other film credits include An American Crime (2007), which premiered in January 2007 at the Sundance Film Festival; Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist; Drew Barrymore's Whip It, and What's Your Number? (2011), starring as Anna Faris' sister. Also in 2011, she played opposite Jonah Hill in the comedy The Sitter before working on the 2012 comedies Celeste and Jesse Forever and For a Good Time, Call... (2012). Her latest film credit is a role in James Franco's The Disaster Artist (2017).

In the Fall of 2011, she began appearing on Broadway in the Woody Allen written segment of three one-act comedies collectively called Relatively Speaking.

In her spare time, Ari enjoys photography.
