Angela Kinsey

Born in Lafayette, Louisiana, Angela Kinsey grew up in Jakarta, Indonesia until her teens, when her family moved to Archer City, Texas. After college, she interned at the NBC talk show Late Night with Conan O'Brien, then moved to Los Angeles, where she took improvisation classes and started landing small guest roles on television shows.

She played guest roles on shows such as King of the Hill as Angela and All of Us as Blanche Whitefish, but her first big, and most notable role came in 2005. Cast as Angela Martin on The Office, Angela held this role from 2005 to 2013 when the show came to an end. The sitcom is loved by many and put Angela on the map as a dynamic actress with a talent for comedy. During her time on The Office, Angela continued to guest on many television shows, including Monk, American Dad!, Yo Gabba Gabba!, First Dates with Toby Harris, and more.

Her film debut was in License to Wed (2007) as Judith the Jewelry Clerk and since then, she has appeared in many films. Roles include Felder in Furry Vengeance (2010), Anglaxia Supremacy IV in Slash (2016), Eva in Half Magic (2018), and much more. Angela appeared in the Netflix film Tall Girl (2019) as Helaine Kreyman, a role she reprised in Tall Girl 2 (2022).

Since her time on The Office, she has landed other recurring roles, including Bethany in Haters Back Off, a role she held from 2016 to 2017. She appeared as the host of Be Our Chef for one season in 2020, and as Vivian in Never Have I Ever for one season in 2020.

Angela herself is a huge outdoors person and claims her favorite hobby is gardening. She tends to the garden herself and goes outside every day. Appreciating the fresh air and calmness of the wind, she makes it a point to spend time outside whenever she has the chance.

Angela currently appears as a panellist and co-host on the MTV show Deliciousness, a role she has held since 2020. She also co-hosts the award-winning podcast Office Ladies with her best friend Jenna Fischer, whom she met when they were both filming The Office.
