Violent Naples

In Umberto (Cannibal Ferox) Lenzi's eurocrime masterpiece VIOLENT NAPLES (1976), an unorthodox cop (genre giant Maurizio Merli) uses his flaming fists to shake up the criminal underworld, which has been terrorizing innocent citizens with home invasions, muggings, and a merciless protection racket to boot. Chock full of amazing motorbike chases, brutal violence, non-stop action, a killer score by Franco Micalizzi and featuring a great performance by Luciano Rossi as a greasy scumbag, VIOLENT NAPLES is one of the best eurocrime movies ever made, hands down.
