The Feature

Filmmaker Michael Auder teams with Andre Neel to construct this patchwork retrospective detailing forty years in the life of himself and his closes friends. Assembled from over 5000 hours of footage, the film offers viewers a glimpse into Auder's unique world. From conversations with Andy Warhol and other stars to run-ins with ex-wives Viva and Cindy Sherman as well as encounters with a whole host of family and friends, Auder's autobiography gradually becomes a kaleidoscopic journey into the underworld told with idiosyncratic flair. Woven into the uniquely constructed tale is the story of the subject's struggle against an illness that may prove fatal.
