The Autism Society Players

This introspective documentary focuses on a small group of people who live with autism and are the creators of the Autism Society of Edmonton Area's "Autism Society Players". Under the tutelage of Trent Wilkie, the players write and perform their plays "A Room" and "Autism Vs. Mitchism". The product of a Telus grant, this near hour long documentary will put perspective on autism, advocacy and art. The Autism Society of Edmonton Area (ASEA) is a not for profit society where individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders are valued and supported to help achieve their full potential. At the same time, the ASEA offers guidance to the families and loved one of those living with Autism. Tickets are $10 at the door (all proceeds go to the Autism Society of Edmonton Area). After the viewing there will be a question and answer session with the Autism Society Players. For more info, call 435-7970 or trentwilkie@gmail.com.
