IPM Presentation of Slumdog Millionaire

IPM (International Partners in Mission) will sponsor the screening of Academy Award winning film Slumdog Millionaire, followed by a special presentation by Mahesh Upadhyaya, of Ahmedabad, India, and IPM Regional Director of South Asia & Interim Director of Programs & Partnerships. Mahesh will share a reaction to the film in India, the movie's portrayal of the social reality of this complex country, and what community organizations, partnering with IPM, are doing to promote justice, peace, and hope.

IPM works across borders of faith and culture on behalf of children, women, and youth to create partnerships that build justice, peace, and hope. IPM provides seed funding, technical assistance, and training to community based organizations in over 25 countries, working toward sustainable and replicable project development.
